I have such error if I have system shutdown or network problem. You really don't have a duplicate in your db. That is mysql db error...all you need to do is that, if you do your insertion and it is not true, just alter one of the columns of your table you want to insert into either from varchar to text or bigint and then redo the insertion. That will solve the problem.

Unless you can physically go into this store and walk out with something I wouldn't go near them. I buy a lot of things online, from all around the world, and they are the worst I've run into.

zzzz why do companies like this exist. I always package stuff with foam and bubble wrap when I sell something!

My only gripe with the physical locations is that they do not display pricing so have to revert to the website whilst in store or keep asking for pricing.

! I think I have spent 4 hours on hold just trying to get thru with no result so far. I have given up now, no response via email or phone. They sent it a second time again to the wrong address and so was returned to their depot AGAIN. Absolutely hopeless, I do not know why they allow purchases online if they do not provide any support should something go wrong. NEVER BUYING AGAIN FROM SYDNEY TOOLS! Don't waste your time.

I have bought quite a fair amount of tools and machinery from them including power tools to commercial water pressure cleaners and generators. They look after me with fair pricing (I dont know if its the absolute cheapest but they always are willing to help and negotiate) and they always have what I am after.

Fine I said, I'll cancel the order and ring round local shops so I can get it faster – she said if I did that it would be a store credit, not a refund, even though I had only ordered in 15 minutes earlier and they aren't processing it until I do their 'verification'.

Yeah the biggest advantage is being able to quickly pop it off, flick out the donut and clip it back on.

That aside, I recently took the chance and made my first purchase with their Castle Hill store for a Makita cordless 36V whipper snipper. The staff were reasonable folk and allowed me to inspect the box before I paid up for it.

How times change, it's a shame there aren't any made in Australia anymore (you can pick up Beta 42 or 90 series that are still made in Italy and very similar in finish to how Sidchrome used to be.
